Then that is why his appearance struck me as familiar

We celebrated Valentine's Day just a bit early on Saturday, with new and old friends. At first we went glow bowling, then we had a casual dinner in a restaurant and we finished the evening at our place, drinking gin&tonic punch and eating fresh fruit salad. The evening went extremely well and for that we thank our friends.

Juhlistimme ystävänpäivää jo etukäteen lauantaina sekä uusien, että vanhojen ystävien kanssa. Alkuun hohtokeilasimme, sitten ruokailimme leppoisasti ravintolassa ja lopuksi juhlimme vielä meillä gin&tonic boolin ja hedelmäsalaatin voimin. Ilta oli mitä mainioin, kiitos siitä ystäväillemme.

Love and friendship are the salt of the earth.

And what if you just broke your heart? Valentine's Day can remind you of the happy times, now in the past..
When your life is filled with happiness, it's difficult to remember any different. Perhaps this is good day (as any) to be thankful of friendship and love you have in your life...

Tänään on päivä, jolloin yksinäistä muistutetaan siitä, että hän on yksin. Kuka onkaan (ystävänpäivän) valittusi? Entä jos sellaista ei vain ole sattunut kohdalle? Entä jos sydämesi on juuri särkynyt? Ystävänpäivä voi muistuttaa onnen hetkistä, jotka nyt ovat menneisyyttä.. Silloin, kun elämän täyttää onni, on vaikea muistaa muuta.
