Stressed out

As the Christmas is getting nearer it seems that many are getting totally stressed out. Gifts, foods, cards, cleaning and time running out are a devastating combination.

A person I know was telling me about her sister and about the problems she is facing when trying to buy a gift for her. It seems she is really particural about the things she will accept and in the end, when asked streight up, would not tell what she would like! Talk about difficulty and unneccessary stress! :)

Well, this year we sent our cards on time (not many, just a few to relatives), have ordered in forehand our Christmas ham and some fish products from Stockmann, we've designed our table setting (new colours this year) and made a list of all the foods and drinks that we have to get. As to the cleaning we don't need a big and thorough, just the basic stuff because we've done everything when renovating this autumn. The only gift we still need to buy is a new tripod for our camera..:)

I think we will manage ok..

Näin joulun lähestyessä vaikuttaa siltä, että monet ovat totaalisen stressantuneita. Lahjat, ruoka, kortit, siivoaminen ja kesken loppuva aika muodostavat tuhoisan yhdistelmän.

Eräs tuntemani henkilö kertoi sisarestaan ja kohtaamistaan ongelmista yrittäessään ostaa lahjaa hänelle. Vaikuttaa siltä, että hän on erittäin tarkka siitä, millaisen lahjan hän kelpuuttaa ja lopulta, kun häneltä kysyttiin suoraan minkä lahjan hän haluaisi, ei suostunut vastaamaan! Miten niin turhaa stressiä muille! :)

B&C lähetti tänä vuonna korttinsa ajoissa (vain muutamille sukulaisille), tilasi kinkun ja kalajuttuja etukäteen Stockmannilta, olemme suunnitelleet kattauksen (uusin värein tänä vuonna) ja tehneet listan ruuista ja juomista, jotka on vielä hankittava. Mitään suursiivousta emme aio tehdä, vain ihan perusjutut, sillä syksyisen remontin yhteydessä puunasimme kaiken kunnolla. Ja ainut lahja joka on vielä hankkimatta on kolmijalka kameraamme.. :)

Luulen, että selviämme ihan ok..
