Loppiaisena kokkailimme taas hiukan. Alkuruuan resepti oli mukaelma Makuja pähkinäpuun alta- kirjan maa-artisokkakeitosta, vaihdoimme vain reseptiin bataatin. Keiton maku sopi loistavasti tuoreen timjamin kaveriksi, suosittelemme lämpimästi. Pääruuan täytteen reseptin imrovisoimme, mutta pohjan resepti oli suoraan Pariisin Fnacista ostamastamme Atelier tartes : Salé + Sucré kirjasta, jossa on muuten todella upeita ruokakuvia. Jälkiruuan ohje löytyi Makuja pähkinäpuun alta- kirjasta ja se onnistui loistavasti, vaikka valmiiden vanukkaiden kumoamista pitikin hieman harjoitella..

Herttainen, erittäin vanha nainen tiedusteli meiltä erään kahvilan sijaintia.

Hän sanoi "Pitää saada kahvia, kun tuota kahvihammasta niin kolottaa" leveästi hymyillen.

Ja yhtä aikaa meidän kummankin mieleen (kaikella kunnioituksella ja rakkaudella) tuli ajatus: "Mitäköhän noista kolmesta hampaasta hän tarkoittaa?"
