Recipe for a delicious day off:
- to sleep as long as one likes (especially, if one has collected mixtapes from the internet until half past two in the morning;))
- cuddle in the morning (so that even our late riser Bean manages to wake up..)
- eat breakfast (rocket on a yammy bread)
- read the morning paper (this is quick - Helsingin Sanomat has been strangely thin lately)
- watch a bit of first season of Star Trek: Voyager (Bean has gone a bit crazy on ST;))
- take a litlle nap (on the couch)
- despite the cold (it was -12C degrees) toddle into to swimming hall for a decent dip (the regulars are there anyway, despite the weather)
- cook lasagne and cherry tomatoes in oven (loving the smell of fresh basil in the winter)
- ponder about new photos on our living room ceiling (after pictures from NYC it's time for Lisbon & window theme)
- read some (now reading Herman Wouk's Inside, Outside; Albert Camus' The Outsider (L’Étranger) and Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin's The Physiology of Taste (Physiologie du goût)).

Herkullisen vapaapäivän resepti:
- nukutaan niin myöhään kuin nukuttaa (varsinkin, jos on keräillyt netistä mixtapeja puoli kolmeen yöllä ;))
- aamuhalitaan (jotta saadaan meidän aamutorkku Papukin heräämään..)
- syödään aamupalaa (mmm, herkkuleipää rukolan kera)
- luetaan aamun lehti (nopea toimitus - Helsingin Sanomat on ollut oudon ohut viime aikoina)
- katsellaan vähän Star Trek: Voyager'in ensimmäistä tuotantokautta (Papu on vähän hurahtanut ;))
- otetaan pienet päiväunet (sohvalla)
- lähdetään pakkasesta (-12C) huolimatta uimaan (vakiporukka on aina paikalla, säässä kuin säässä)
- laitetaan lasagnea ja kirsikkatomaatteja uunissa (tuorebasilika on niiin ihanan tuoksuista näin talvisin)
- mietitään uusia valokuvia olohuoneen seinälle (NYCin kuvin jälkeen vuorossa Lissabon & ikkunateema)
- lueskellaan (nyt luennassa Herman Woukin Manhattan, Albert Camus'n Sivullinen, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarinin Maun fysiologia)
