Eddie: Oh, God! Insects, insects! They followed me, those bloody insects.
Insects follow me everywhere, darling. From Tuscany to the Caribbean. Insects,
insects, insects! You know, I usually see pictures of glamorous houses in
Marrakesh, for God's sake. You don't see spiders scuttling into the corner. You
never see a picture of Jane Seymour with a centipede dangling from her bloody
tiara! No, they just follow me, they bloody follow me. I mean, a mosquito has
never bitten you, for God's sake!
Patsy: The last mosquito that bit me had to
book into the Betty Ford Clinic.
Absolutely Fabulous “France”
The quote from Ab Fab is straight out of my life...I am the person, who is bitten by mosquitoes everywhere. Apparently my body temperature and smell are perfect for them and I out hale loads of carbon dioxide. I would not mind it though, but I happen to be very sensitive to their bites..Small bite by black fly and my finger swell double to its normal size (this, by the way, happened this spring, while I was laying home on our couch, the window open:)) Or a sting by a mosquito and I get mark size of a hand (for real) on my thigh. Well, that is good enough reason, why I enjoy living in a city and don’t enjoy spending time in the Finnish forests..--------------Yllä oleva lainaus on kuin suoraan omasta elämästäni..
No tässäpä hyvä peruste sille, miksi viihdyn kaupungissa, enkä vapaa-ajallani ole metsissä samoilevaa tyyppiä.. By Crumpet
